The nightingale pledge,named in honour of Florence nightingale,is a modified version of the hippocratic oath.lystra gretter and a committee for the forrand training school grace for nurses in Detroit, Michigan,created the pledgale,in 1893 gretter inspired by the work of nightingale,the founder of modern nursing,credited the pledge to the work of her committee,but was herself considered,"the moving spirit behind the idea"for the pledge.

    1--  i shell abide by high ideals of morality of my business can be wrise in prestige.

   2--. I will always be on the best standards of nosing service and practice.

  3--. I shall always respect the religious beliefs and religious practices of my patients.

   4--- all personal and family information furnished to me Will be reserved for me.

    5--- i will help with the doctor's work and always give the doctor's instructions faithfully.

     6--- i would appreciate the best possible responsibility for nursing, promotion of health and rehabilitation, prevention and prevention of disease, and release from pain.
